Out of the dark and dreary winter

out of the death and decay

bursts forth

New Beginnings

New days

and it's a bit exciting

thrilling even seeing as today is Good Friday..

the remembrance of Christ Jesus' death

of the dark, despairing debt He paid

for me

and for you

for what that payment means to us...

it means

LIFE

fresh, and clean and new 

forgiveness

redemption

restoration

renewal

for me

for you

I LOVE it!

even thrilling to come home to Blessings Farm and discover

Spring...

bursting forth

and bringing with it 

LIFE

and

color

and 

new sounds

new smells

yes..

new life

and that rebirth can occur

in 

even in the

 MOST 

surprising places

yep..

this wee little crocus has NO idea 

that it's not perfectly normal

to grow in the middle of the lawn..

and ya know what

I rather appreciate it's spunk!

it was a joy to walk about on our first day back

and breath in the fresh country air

clean

and crisp 

wet and cool...

noticing all the buds

ahhh 

no snow on the trail!

lets go exploring

shall we?

lets rejoice and acknowledge we are ALIVE!
